TalentNERD

BRAND IDENTITY
Using:
BRIEF

TalentNERD, a burgeoning recruitment agency, wanted a distinctive logo and style pack that would encapsulate the founder's vibrant and approachable personality.
The challenge was to craft a brand identity that stood out in the competitive recruitment sector, appealing to both clients and candidates with its unique charm and professionalism.
THE PROCESS
My creative journey began with spontaneous ideation, including the classic 'sketch on a restaurant napkin' where the concept of incorporating 'nerd' glasses first emerged. These early explorations focused on capturing both the professional expertise and personable nature of the agency.
Through collaborative refinement with the client, I developed multiple concepts that balanced playfulness with industry credibility. Each iteration was evaluated for its ability to create instant recognition while communicating the agency's unique positioning.
THE SOLUTION
The final design centred on a clean, block-colour logo incorporating stylised 'nerd' glasses as a distinctive visual element. This symbolised the agency's intelligent and friendly approach to recruitment.
The comprehensive brand package included:
Primary logo in various formats and applications
Secondary brand marks for different contexts
A versatile colour palette reflecting the agency's energetic personality
Typography guidelines ensuring consistent communication
Visual elements that could flex across digital and print applications
THE RESULTS
The brand identity successfully differentiated TalentNERD in the competitive recruitment landscape:
The distinctive logo created immediate brand recognition
The modern, polished appearance resonated with corporate clients while maintaining accessibility
The playful elements reflected the founder's personality, creating authentic brand engagement
The comprehensive style pack enabled consistent application across all touchpoints
The final identity perfectly balanced professionalism with personality, giving TalentNERD a memorable presence that authentically represented their approach to recruitment.
